Dwarf hawk-fish
The dwarf hawkfish, Cirrhitichthys
falco, is a species of hawkfish found on tropical reefs of the
Indo-Pacific region from the Maldives to the Caroline Islands and Samoa.
This species can reach 7 cm (2.8 in) in total length. It can also be
found in the aquarium trade. It is red-pink and white in color, and has
tassels on the tip of its dorsal fin. Like many fish, this species can
change sex.
